The Strut STR-H4n is a protective cover for the Zoom H4n. In addition to protection from dust and abrasion, it expands the use of the recorder by offering a variety of carrying and attaching methods. With the STR-H4n the recorder can be worn on a belt, hung from a lanyard, or wrapped around a boom or mic stand. It can be kept on the recorder at all times. The display screen can be viewed through clear plastic, and front controls can be operated normally. Side controls and jacks are accessed behind seal-able doors. Battery changes are easy and tripod mount is readily accessible without removing the case. A seal-able cuff protects the XLR connections. On-board mics are covered with a flip top and can be exposed at any time. The STR-H4n jacket is made from durable 1000 denier coated nylon that will hold up under years of use. The Zoom H4n is a delicate instrument and should be handled with care. The STR-H4n does not claim to protect the recorder from careless use or impact.
